Full Journal pdf2012-04-06 Senate Journal Page 2075 HB 284 Message dated April 5 was read stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendments to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 284(FIN) and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendments, namely: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 284(FIN) am S "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government and for certain programs, capitalizing funds, amending appropriations, and making reappropriations; and providing for an effective date." In the event the Senate fails to recede, the Speaker has appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the bills: Representative Thomas, Chair Representative Stoltze Representative Gara 2012-04-06 Senate Journal Page 2076 Senator Meyer moved that the Senate recede from its amendments and recommended the body vote no. The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendments?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 284(FIN) am S Shall the Senate Recede from its Amendments to CSHB 284(FIN)? YEAS: 0 NAYS: 19 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 1 Nays: Coghill, Davis, Dyson, Egan, Ellis, French, Giessel, Hoffman, Huggins, Kookesh, McGuire, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Stevens, Thomas, Wagoner, Wielechowski Absent: Stedman and so, the Senate failed to recede. The President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator Hoffman, Chair Senator Stedman Senator Thomas The Secretary was requested to notify the House. President Stevens stated Uniform Rule 23(d) is currently in effect.
